Introduction to Welfare and Useful Links

Welfare is a concept designed to promote the basic physical and material well-being of people in need. For us, this system is a combination of the OUDS Welfare Officer, Welfare Officers on productions, the Welfare Manifesto and other supplementary documents such as the audition guidelines, and other measures put in place to help make sure everyone feels safe, welcome and supported during their time involved in Oxford drama. OUDS takes welfare very seriously – ensuring that all the cast and crew feel safe and supported throughout a production should be the number one priority on every show.
