The Cameron Mackintosh Visiting Professor of Contemporary Theatre: Acting Workshop and Performance with Adjoa Andoh
In this final workshop of the series, Adjoa Andoh (AKA Lady Danbury in Bridgerton) will bring together the learning from the past two terms. Reflecting on Shakespeare’s works and participants’ own writing, this hands-on acting workshop will focus on the connections between then and now as we speak the thoughts aloud. Beginning with an actors warm up morning in preparation, participants who submitted creative writing pieces from Adjoa’s Michaelmas workshop—and those who attended Greg Doran’s Hilary Term ‘Shakespeare Gym’—will have the opportunity to present their texts or perform a Shakespearean passage. Whether you’ve attended previous workshops or are joining for the first time, all are welcome to participate or simply observe!
