Other Funding Bodies

Under current OUDS bylaws, the places where registered production companies can get funding is through Oxford Colleges, College drama funds/societies, CMDF and OUDS. No production company can act as a funding body.

  • JCRs/HCRs – by far the easiest way to get some money. Encourage all cast and crew to apply for grants through JCR/HCR motions.

  • The Brazen Arts Fund – Available for Brasenose College students, who can apply through student support funding once a term, rather than going through their JCR/HCR.

  • The King’s Hall Trust – A Trust formed by Brasenose Alumni, that aims to support the arts in Oxford and elsewhere in the United Kingdom, with an emphasis on small-scale student and fringe projects. For more details visit: https://kingshalltrust.wordpress.com/funding/

  • Corpus Christi Owlets – Corpus Christi College drama fund available for all Oxford Drama. Apply at: [email protected] 

  • Magdalen Players – Magdalen College drama fund available for all Oxford Drama. Apply at: [email protected]

  • Mansfield Players – Mansfield College drama fund available for all Oxford Drama. Apply at: [email protected]om

  • Merton Floats: Merton College drama fund available for all Oxford Drama. Apply at: [email protected]

  • The Eglesfield Players – Queens College drama fund available for all Oxford Drama.
